Anaya White, originally from Cincinnati, has called Washington DC her home for over 20 years. Anaya received her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from the Shenandoah Conservatory in 2007. She worked as a professional stage manager for several years in both the Washington DC area, and Lexington, Kentucky. Going back to her roots in scenic and stage properties design, Anaya began painting as both a therapeutic and creative outlet. 

Drawing on her favorite art movements- Impressionism and Pop Art- she takes inspiration from both the classic and the modern to inform and create her own unique painting method. 

Anaya’s work has been sold privately to collectors, and she’s excited to make her gallery debut with Gallery In The Woods. She strongly supports the See The Art In Me Foundation’s mission and values that through art one can bring color, vibrancy, and light to the darkest places of ourselves.
